  • CARS PICKING UP THREE (3) OR MORE CAMPERS (pink arrows) ARE CONSIDERED CARPOOL AND WILL APPROACH 50TH AVE E BY WAY OF 136TH ST E.

  • CARPOOLS: STREET-SIDE PICK UP, NO NEED TO ENTER CAMP

  • THIS SYSTEM INCLUDES LATE NIGHT PICK UP (THURSDAY)

  • ALL DRIVERS MUST PRESENT DRIVER’S LICENSE WHEN PICKING UP ANY CAMPER

  • YOU WILL RECEIVE A HARD COPY OF THIS INFORMATION AND BEAUTIFULLY COLORED MAP IN THE MAIL BY JULY 1, 2025

  • YOU MAY UPDATE YOUR CARPOOL INFO AT ANY TIME BY:

NON-CARPOOL FAMILIES: FOR YOUR SAFETY, WE WILL MAIL YOU A PASSWORD TO FILL OUT THE ONLINE CAMPER PICK UP FORM WITH YOUR OTHER CAMP INFO, ARRIVING VIA USPS EARLY JULY 2026

CARPOOL FAMILIES: WE WILL VERIFY YOUR CARPOOL INFORMATION VIA EMAIL BEFORE CAMP BEGINS 7/27/26.

HOW TO BECOME A CARPOOL:

This is the 2nd year of our very exciting experiment in the “After Camp Pick-Up” category of camp. We learned a lot last year (thank you for your patience), and have made a few tweaks in the system. Fingers crossed we can all work together as staff and parents to make this a successful system.

If you have a group of THREE (3) or more campers that are being picked up in the same vehicle, you qualify for:

If you want to participate in the carpool system:

  1. Have a group of THREE (3) or more campers in ONE (1) vehicle.

  2. Know the first and last names of ALL potential carpool drivers.

  3. Drivers must present valid driver’s license upon camper pick up.

  4. Know the first and last names of ALL planned campers in vehicle, for each day of the week.

  5. (Better yet, know their “camp names”!)

  6. You may have different drivers and different campers on each day, Monday-Friday of camp week. (Does not need to be same driver/campers every day, but you must know exactly what campers on each day)

  7. Come up with a "nickname” for your carpool group. (This helps us group the campers and call them for easy pick up)

  8. You may ONLY approach camp and pick up your carpool coming from the direction of 136th St E and turning onto 50th St E. If you come from the direction of 128th St E, you will be ridiculed and we will tell Santa that you were a bad kid this year. Then we will make you turn around and go the correct way. (See map)

  9. If you have a PA (Program Aide) please do not arrive to pick up your carpool until 4:30.

  10. ONLY ONE PERSON FILL OUT THE CARPOOL FORM! MULTIPLE VARIATIONS FROM MULTIPLE PARENTS ONLY HURT OUR CARPOOL SYSTEM.
