Program Aide in Training (PAT)
Camp fee: $175

Campers entering grades 7-9 may apply to participate as a Program Aide in Training (PAT). The PAT program is designed as a week of hands-on training to become a Program Aide (PA).
During the week of Camp Oh Ah Lay Lay, PATs will have the opportunity to learn leadership skills by working hands-on with all Girl Scout age groups and earn their L.I.A. (Leadership in Action) badge for Girl Scouts.
Mandatory PAT training:
June 27, 2026

Program Aide (PA)

Campers entering grades 8-12 who have successfully completed Camp Oh Ah Lay Lay’s PAT training may apply for a PA position.
PA’s will be assigned to a unit for the entire week of camp and will assist leaders as needed. PA’s will meet with their Program Aide leaders, Howdy & Butterfly, daily for additional training and resources. PA’s will be responsible for planning at least one craft for their assigned unit, along with planning other camp-wide activities throughout the week. PA’s are able to earn volunteer hours required for school by attending Camp Oh Ah Lay Lay as a Program Aide.
Mandatory PA Attendance:
PA Retreat: June 27-28, 2026
Meetings: 6/24, 7/1, 7/15
