PA LIA Workshop
Program Aide Core Leadership Training Workshop
Sunday June 29, 2025
9:30 AM - 7 PM
Camp Curran: 13220 50th St E, Tacoma (Puyallup 128th & Canyon)
Fee: $25 NON-REFUNDABLE AFTER 6/1/25
This training workshop day is for Girl Scouts who:
Plan to become Program Aides at any type of GS camp setting
Would like to earn their LIA award
Will be entering 7th grade or higher in the fall of 2025
Are NOT enrolled or planning to enroll in Camp Oh Ah Lay Lay’s PAT/PA program (this training worksop is included in your current PAT camp registration )
At this workshop you will:
Earn the mandatory PA Core Leadership training needed to attain your LIA award (you will still need to work with Brownies elsewhere in order to earn your LIA award)
Learn & practice fire building and fire safety
Learn & Practice Opening & Closing flag ceremonies
Learn & practice tent building
Learn & Practice games & songs
Receive TBRI* and Neuro-Diverse training (*Trust Based Relational Intervention)
Learn & Practice Camp cooking (fire, box oven, etc)
Meals are included. Lunch will be hot dogs & s’mores over the campfire and dinner will be pizza. We will accommodate dietary needs such as gluten free, dairy free and vegetarian.
